How to assign users
Drag signups onto comp slots on the public event roster.
Caller assign (/e/ link)
- Open the event share link (
/e/{token}) while logged in as staff. - Open the Signups panel to see who joined and which roles they listed.

- Click an empty slot on the comp board (or a slot you want to change). The Assigning to popup lists players who signed up for that role and who is already placed elsewhere.

- Pick a player to fill the slot. You can also drag a signed-up player onto a slot from the signups list.
- Changes save automatically for other viewers (live sync).
- Use the ⋯ menu on a party header to Duplicate party or Delete party when the event has more than one party.
Comp self assign
When the event uses Comp self assign, players choose their own slot. Officers can still move players or clear slots using the same roster board.
Open rally (/r/ link)
- Open the rally link (
/r/{token}). - Players join party slots themselves via Join buttons — see Signing up for events.
- Use party toolbars to sort or organize as needed.
Tips
- Drag the divider between the comp board and signups to widen the roster and compact player rows so more names fit (desktop). Double-click the divider to reset.
- Use Ping on the event page to DM assigned comp players on Discord (staff action).
- Disarray on the party toolbar estimates headcount disarray plus battle mounts. Mount type matters (2–5 points each); the BM bonus only applies when assigned mounts total more than 15 points — hover for the breakdown, or see BM X/15 when you are still under the threshold.
