How to create events
Create a guild CTA from the Events page (/g/{slug}/events).
Create a standard event
- Open Events in the guild nav (stay on Call To Arms).
- Click New event.
- Enter the title and brief, then fill Mass & time (start time and day first, then location and sets) and Caller & voice (shot caller, TeamSpeak, Discord). On a narrow screen those two groups stack; on a wide screen they sit side by side. Use Today / Tomorrow, or the calendar for another day.
- Under Signups, choose how members get into seats:
- Caller assign — officers assign players to slots (public link
/e/...). If you named a Caller and the composition has a caller seat, they are signed up and placed in the first empty caller seat. - Comp self assign — players pick their own comp slot (
/e/...). Same as above: a named Caller is auto-placed in the first empty caller seat when the composition has one. - Open parties — open rally format (public link
/r/...). - Live comp — members sign up with the weapon they bring; you build the comp during the mass.
- Caller assign — officers assign players to slots (public link
- When Signups needs a saved build, a separate Composition section appears — pick the template (edits here do not change the template).
- Set visibility.
- Optionally attach a group mass (an existing open one, a new alliance- or guild-scoped one, or none).
- Optionally turn on Post in Discord to announce the event in a channel as soon as it is created — pick the channel, who to ping, and whether the post lists signups.
- Create the event.
Flash mass
- On the Events list page, open Flash mass (or use Discord
/flash-mass). - Fill the quick form: title, description, mass location, caller, signup visibility.
- Publish — players get a signup link immediately.
After creation
- Copy the Share link from the event page.
- Post it in Discord or use
/cta— see Discord commands for CTAs. - Assign players when signups close — see How to assign users.
