How to post an event (web)

Share the signup link

1. Open the event from CTA (/g/{slug}/events) or the public page.
2. Copy the Share link ( /e/... or /r/... depending on format).
3. Paste it in your Discord mass channel or pins.

Ping assigned players

1. On the public event page (/e/{token}), find staff actions (logged in as officer).
2. Click Ping to send Discord DMs to players currently assigned to comp slots.
3. Use this after assignments are mostly final.

To post a formatted CTA embed in Discord, use /cta — see Discord commands for CTAs. That is separate from the web share link.

Reminders

Leaders configure automatic CTA reminders under Settings (lead time before mass). The bot sends reminders based on that schedule.
